Autumn Burst 625 Custom

Commission build, 2024

I think this is one of the nicest pieces of maple I have ever carved. This guitar went off to my friend Nick in Hawaii, he wanted one of my 625s but with a few extra customisations - He liked an Autumn burst I did previosly but wanted it with a dark edge burst instead of a teardrop, headstock to match the top and a cherry back with matching mahogany control covers.

Mahogany set neck with rosewood fretboard, flamed maple binding and MOP inlays

Top matching quilted maple headstock and truss rod cover

22 medium jumbo stainless steel frets

2 Vol, 2 Tone with paper in oil capacitors

Finish


Dyed maple top, natural binding, cherry back, finished with 50s recipe nitrocellulsoe
